STEAK 101

Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse | 33 West Kinzie, Chicago
Wednesday, June 12th @ 6:30pm

Don’t miss the Harry Caray’s Third Annual Steak 101–a seven course steak and wine dinner where guests learn from the experts while enjoying an evening of extraordinary food and wine. Harry Caray’s Restaurant Group Executive Chef Joe Rosetti and Sommelier Mark Molitor have created an incomparable tasting menu designed to answer the most commonly asked questions about ordering steak and wine.  For each course, Joel Lezak, owner of L&L Packing Company, one of the most highly regarded steak suppliers in Chicago, will compare and contrast the characteristics of two different steak options—Grass-Fed Beef vs. Bison, Elk vs. Venison, Dry-Aged vs. Wet-Aged, and Prime vs Wagyu.  Duckhorn Executive Winemaker Bill Nancarrow will explain how the qualities of the meat influence the choice of wine for each course. The highly acclaimed Duckhorn Vineyards has been crafting classic Bordeaux varietals from the Napa Valley for over 30 years. Guests will have the unique opportunity to taste the 2011 Duckhorn Vineyards Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc, 2006 Duckhorn Vineyards Howell Mountain Cabernet and the 2009 Duckhorn Vineyards Goldeneye Gowan Creek Pinot Noir—which are highly acclaimed and have very limited supply remaining.

Tickets for this exclusive event are $150 per guest including tax and gratuity.  Click here or call 312.595.2208 to make reservations. This exceptional event is met with rave reviews every year and will sell out.

We’ll also be giving away “42” baseball t’s, hats, seat cushions and more while supplies last.
