Every year, “Harry O’Caray’s” in River North hosts one of Chicago’s largest St. Patrick’s Day parties before, during and after the city’s famed parade. On Saturday, March 17th the entire restaurant (including the second floor – which is otherwise reserved for private events) will transform into a big green celebration of everything Irish! Doors will open early at 9:00am. On the first floor, the Shannon Rovers will set the mood with their traditional Irish bagpipe music. On the second floor, hometown favorite Sugarbeat will perform Irish tinged rock from 12:30pm-5:00pm.
Hot Corned Beef Sandwiches freshly sliced from our sandwich cart will be served in the bar and on the second floor during lunch. In the dining room, where reservations are recommended, Irish specials will be added to the regular Italian Steakhouse menu, including Guinness Battered Fish and Chips, Shepherd’s Pie and Corned Beef and Cabbage. The following favorites will be offered during both lunch and dinner (unless otherwise indicated).

On Saturday, March 17th, “Harry O’Caray’s” Tavern will be decorated in full St. Patrick’s Day splendor while maintaining Tavern’s family-friendly atmosphere. The celebration will feature traditional and modern Irish music and green giveaways, including St. Patrick’s Day beads, green hats and more. Additionally, guests can visit Navy Pier’s Family Pavilion just outside the restaurant’s front door from 2p-6p to see live Irish dancing performances by Trinity Irish Dancers and Anish.
