Tailgate with Richard Dent at Harry Caray’s, Navy Pier!
Kick-off the Bears season home opener by tailgating with Chicago Bears legend Richard Dent September 12th at Harry Caray’s Navy Pier. The celebration starts at 9:00am followed by roundtrip boat transportation to Soldier Field on a Shoreline Water Taxi. Prior to departure, Dent will christen the boat with a bottle of champagne. Don’t miss this opportunity to hang with the MVP of Super Bowl XX at Harry’s before the game!

Park, Tailgate and Cruise | Every Bears Home Game
For every home Bears game, avoid pre- and post-game traffic hassles by parking at Navy Pier, tailgating at Harry’s and then riding the roundtrip Shoreline Water Taxi. The taxi, available at a discounted rate of $10 per person roundtrip (children 12 and under are $8 roundtrip and kids 2 and under ride free), will pick guests up directly in front of Harry’s and cruise to Museum Campus, just a short walk from Soldier Field. Following the game, the boat will transport fans back to Harry’s for a post-game tailgate where guests can enjoy playing a game of bags on our lake-front patio. Navy Pier parking will be available for a discounted rate of $12 for customers of Harry Caray’s Tavern, Navy Pier.

BAND FROM TV ROCKS HARRY’S PATIO

On Friday, June 25th at 8:00pm, Band From TV will kick off their Chicago tour with a free 45-minute set on the patio at Harry Caray’s Tavern, Navy Pier. The band features a roster of well-known actors, including Desperate Housewivesstar James Denton, who is also a partner in Harry Caray’s Navy Pier. Denton’s bandmates include Greg Grunberg from Heroes, and currently starring in NBC’s new comedy Love Bites; Jesse Spencer , currently starring in House; Bob Guiney, who appeared on The Bachelor and is now the daily host of GSN: Live; Adrian Pasdar, from Heroes and Desperate Housewives; Scott Grimes from American Dad, ER, and most recently, Robin Hood.

Denton’s connection to Harry Caray’s dates back to the early ’90’s when he was a server at Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse on Kinzie as he was getting started in the Chicago theater community. Denton enjoys dining at Harry Caray’s when he’s in town so much so that he became an investor in Harry’s newest location at Navy Pier. He has donated several items to the restaurant’s signature museum, including a guitar autographed by all the members of Band From TV and the t-shirt he wore during the season finale of Desperate Housewives.

“We’ve played a lot of places - American Idol, The Tonight Show but I’ve got to admit, this will be one of the highlights for me, given my history with Harry’s.” says Denton. “The Pier is going to be a great place for us. The band can’t wait.”

WATCH THE HAWKS HUNT FOR THE CUP WITH HAWKS HALL OF FAMER BOBBY HULL AT HARRY’S NAVY PIER

The Chicago Blackhawks could clinch the Stanley Cup championship on Wednesday-and you could be watching the game with Hawks legend Bobby Hull when they do it. Hull will be hosting a viewing party at Harry Caray’s Tavern, Navy Pier starting at 6:30p. He’s a partner in the restaurant and is excited to watch this historic game there with the fans. Hull will also be selling signed merchandise throughout the evening.

The 30 high-def flat screen TVs, located throughout the bar, dining room and lakefront patio, will all be tuned in to the game.

Win Blackhawk Prizes
As we have done at all Harry Caray’s locations throughout the Stanley Cup series, fans sporting playoff beards (real or fake) can enter a drawing to win dinner for four with Bobby Hull at Harry Caray’s Tavern Navy Pier. The winner will be drawn at random at the conclusion of the series.

All guests can also enter to win a hockey puck autographed by Hull. Winners will be drawn at random after the game.
