It’s even right there waiting for you when the game ends to take you back to Lombard. And if that’s not convenient enough, catch one free appetizer before or after the game when you show your Bears ticket at Harry’s in Lombard.

Jailbirds for MDA 9/30/10

Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse, Chicago is hosting local Jailbirds for MDA!

Harry Caray’s is proud to host Jailbirds for the 2010 Muscular Dystrophy Association Lock-Up!

Local Chicago business and community leaders have fun warrants out for their arrest for having big hearts and a charitable spirit. This unique community-wide event raises funds for Jerry’s kids living in the Chicagoland area.

If you are interested in becoming a jailbird or if you know someone we should “put behind bars for good” please call Meg at the MDA office- 312-254-0632.

What’s On Your Bun?

By popular demand Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse on Kinzie is now offering the Holy Cow!® Burger Bar on the lunch menu! We are looking for your help to help create the Ultimate Burger Experience by creating the best recipe using ingredients from the Holy Cow!^® Burger Bar. Enter your recipe now!

The virtual Burger Bar allows guests to build the ultimate burger by ordering from a wide selection of meats, preparations, toppings and buns. Choices include the finest varieties of beef, including Japanese style Wagyu beef and Bill Kurtis’ grass fed Tallgrass beef, as well as turkey, grilled chicken, veggie and salmon. Guests can choose preparations such as Cajun Spiced or Peppercorn Crusted, along with a wide selection of toppings including Crispy Buttermilk Onion Strings, Applewood Smoked Bacon and Lemon Caper Aioli. A tantalizing assortment of freshly baked buns finishes off the perfect burger.

Promotion is valid during the month of August (August 1, 2010-August 31, 2010). To visit the virtual burger bar please visit Harry’s Facebook fan page (www.facebook.com/harrycarays) throughout the month of August. Submit your recipe to Harry Caray’s Facebook wall. At the end of the contest, Harry Caray’s Restaurant Group’s Corporate Executive Chef, Paul Katz, will pick his favorite burger. Judges’ decisions will be final. All entries judged not to be original will be disqualified.

The First prize winner and a guest will be treated to lunch on Harry’s (up to $50) and their burger will be featured as a special at Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse on Kinzie. Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash. No substitutions will be allowed.

Summer Fridays at Harry Caray’s Lombard

Join us at Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse in Lombard every Friday all summer long, from 5p-7p for live music, themed specials, giveaways and games on Harry’s new outdoor patio. Each month features a different theme concluding with the Summer Blues and BBQ in September. Guests are invited to kick back and relax on Harry’s brand new patio, which features comfortable lounge chairs, couches and a fire pit and overlooks a serene pond and fountain.
