Pooches on the Patio with Randy Wells!

For Dog Owners

Guests are invited to bring their dogs for photo opportunities with Randy Wells and the official Captain Morgan. Those who are in need of a four-legged friend can hop on board the Adoption Trolley, courtesy of Chicago Trolley and Double Decker Co., which will be conveniently located in front of the Captain Morgan Club. The trolley will be full of dogs from Lake Shore Animal Shelter who are available for adoption.

One lucky guest will be selected for a spot in the limelight as they escort Captain Morgan onto Wrigley Field when he throws the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Cubs home game on Friday, August 6^th and will receive two tickets for the same day Cubs game. Game tickets are for two legged guests only.

Guests at the event will also enjoy Waygu Hot Dogs with BBQ Bacon Relish and Whole Grain Dijon Mustard for $6.95, $3 Goose Island 312 bottles and $10 22oz Captain Cubbies, Smirnoff Lemonades or Snake Bite cocktails. Enjoy $5 refills with each collectible mug purchase.

For Our Four Legged Friends

Treat your pup to a little something special. Guests who make a $10 donation to the Lake Shore Animal Shelter will receive a special gift for their dog. Additionally, owners can enter each dog’s name into a drawing for a chance to win the Pooches Prize Pack full of toys and treats as well as getting their dog’s name in lights on the Wrigley Field Marquee.

In honor of the Dog Days of Summer, the Captain Morgan Club is encouraging fans to upload a photo of their pup with the Captain Morgan statue. Tweet ‘n Meet: The Captain Morgan Club

Join top sports and marketing professionals from across the Chicagoland area as we tweet, eat and meet at Captain Morgan Club on May 24, 2010. The evening will begin at 6:30pm with appetizers and networking. At 7:00pm, Matt Wszolek, Director of Sales and Promotions for the Chicago Cubs, will provide insights into succeeding and growing in the competitive world of sports marketing. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions following Matt’s presentation. Throughout the event, guests can follow the #CMCTweetup live twitter stream on the Tweet Screen or mobile device to win great prizes from YouSwoop including certificates to Chicago’s hottest spas, nightlife and attractions.

WIN BATTING PRACTICE ON WRIGLEY FIELD

Tweetup guests will also be provided with the unique opportunity to win a spot in a “Bat at Wrigley” clinic including tips from the Chicago Cubs coaching staff while batting from home plate and the opportunity to watch Cubs batting practice from the grandstand.
